We encourage reading throughout the school as much as possible and we have invested heavily in material for all children. Children will only become good readers by reading and it is essential that parents promote a love of reading and books from an early age.

DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) is in operation in our school each morning from 9.10 am to 9.30 am
Handwriting
This is “script style” handwriting with specific workbooks for each class level detailing correct letter formation and the “joining” process which officially starts in 3rd class, if the child is ready.
